Statement of Principle

1. ANHPC is an outreach ministry of Jesus Christ through His church. Therefore the ANHPC, embodied in its volunteers and staff, is committed to presenting the gospel of our Lord - both in word and in deed - to women with crisis pregnancies. Commensurate with this purpose, those who labor as ANHPC board members, directors, staff and volunteers are expected to know Christ as their Savior and Lord.

2. The ANHPC is committed to providing its clients with accurate and complete information about both prenatal development and abortion.

3. The ANHPC is committed to assisting women to carry to term by providing emotional support and practical assistance. Through the provision of God's people and the community at large, women may face the future with hope and plan constructively for themselves and their babies.

4. The ANHPC never discriminates in providing services because of race, religion, creed, color, national origin, age, marital status or sexual orientation.

5. The ANHPC never advises, provides, or refers for abortion or abortifacients.

6. The ANHPC offers assistance free of charge at all times.

7. The ANHPC is committed to creating within the local community an awareness of the needs of pregnant women and of the fact that abortion compounds human need rather than resolving it. Because an integral part of the ANHPC 's mission is to provide supportive counseling to women who have had an abortion, the ANHPC does not engage in or condone "rescue" or protest activities at abortion clinics.

8. The ANHPC does not engage in contraceptive counseling or in referring for contraceptives or contraceptive services. (Married women seeking contraceptive information should be urged to seek counsel, along with their husbands, from their pastor or physician.)

9. The ANHPC recognizes the validity of adoption as one alternative to abortion but is not biased toward adoption when compared to the other lifesaving alternatives. The ANHPC is independent of adoption agencies, relating to them in the same manner as to other helpful sources.

10. The ANHPC receives no payment of any kind from adoption agencies, does not enter into contractual relationships with them, and does not share combined office space. Adoption agencies are not established under the auspices of centers. The ANHPC receives no compensation in regard to the initiation or facilitation of independent adoptions.

Statement of Belief

  1. The Child - The Bible clearly teaches the humanity, personhood, intrinsic value, and divine creation of the unborn child. The only possible justification for terminating the life of the unborn child is preventing the death of the mother.
  2. The Pregnant Woman
She is a person for whom Christ died; therefore, she deserves the Christian’s acceptance, love and care.
  3. The Christian
Each Christian has a divine obligation to protect the unborn child and to promote the sanctity of life.
  4. For the Christian to fail to protect the life of the unborn child is a sin.
A Christian is called to minister through the church to the pregnant woman and her child.
